Company History
Founded in 1953 by Bill and Helen Kirkland, Kirkland Printing had its start in Glenside PA as a Public Stenographer and Real Estate Office. Being the innovative business man he was, Bill saw an opportunity to break into the printing business while he was running real estate directories on a small mimeograph machine. Kirkland Printing continued to run as a primary printer in the Greater Philadelphia area and was well-known in the local community for their commitment to excellence, strong customer and vendor relationships and producing quality products.
In 1972 Donald Kirkland, son of Bill and Helen, and his wife Kathleen took over the printing company. The business grew and maintained the standards of excellence and hard work while maintaining a competitive edge in growing their business. As the business grew, so did our need for space, and in 1998 Kirkland Printing moved to Willow Grove, PA.
In 2008 Donald and Kathleen's daughter, Kris Schada and her husband Erik, took over the business. Kris and Erik have taken the printing company into the digital age, and continue to evolve as technology changes the world of printing. Today Kris and Erik run the business alongside their children, Kristen and Kyle. Kirkland Printing is a business founded on family values, strong customer relationships and quality work and those remain true as the business continues to grow and develop. Although technology continues to change and the world of print is changing with it, one thing has remained constant and that is our commitment to provide the best quality combined with excellence in customer service. On that you can count!
